LG CNS Deploys Security Robot at Tower Palace, Bringing Robotic Patrols to Residential Complexes
By LG CNS | Aug 2026
■ Quadruped security robot to undergo technology validation at Tower Palace, with full-scale operation planned for Q4
■ Robot learns from real-world site data to autonomously patrol and support rapid response to incidents such as falls and fires
■ LG CNS’ RX platform PhysicalWorks enables faster robot training and deployment
■ Solution designed to complement existing security operations and enhance residential safety, with plans to expand into multi-robot collaboration for facility management
LG CNS (064400, CEO Hyun Shin-gyoon) is introducing a quadruped security robot at a premium residential complex, marking a new step toward the commercialization of Physical AI in real-world environments.
On August 19, LG CNS signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Tower PMC, a leading premium residential property management company, to develop and implement a security robot solution. The agreement was signed at LG Science Park, LG CNS’ headquarters in Magok, Seoul.
Tower PMC began managing Tower Palace in 2002 and has since expanded its portfolio to include some of Korea’s most prominent premium residential properties, including Hannam The Hill, Acro Seoul Forest, and Raemian One Bailey. The company currently manages nearly 100 high-end residential complexes across Korea.

Under the agreement, the two companies will conduct a technology validation program over the next two months to prepare for the deployment of security robots at Tower Palace in Gangnam, Seoul. Full-scale operations are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year.
LG CNS will train the quadruped robot using real-world data from the residential complex, including spatial layouts, patrol routes, and various scenarios involving abnormal situations such as falls and fires.
Using this training data, the robot will autonomously patrol common areas and underground parking facilities. If it detects suspicious activity or abnormal conditions—such as unusually high temperatures around electric vehicles or EV charging facilities—it will immediately send an alert to the property management office, enabling personnel to respond quickly.
The robot is also equipped with two-way voice communication, allowing facility managers to communicate through the robot in real time, assess situations more accurately, and determine appropriate follow-up actions.
Powered by LG CNS’ PhysicalWorks RX Platform
LG CNS will use its Robotics Transformation (RX) platform, PhysicalWorks, to train and operate the security robot.
PhysicalWorks Forge, the company’s robot training platform, will be used to train the robot on site-specific data, while PhysicalWorks Baton, an integrated robot management platform, will oversee and manage the robot’s operations.
Introduced by LG CNS in May as Korea’s first platforms of their kind, PhysicalWorks Forge and Baton are designed to help robots rapidly learn from real-world environments and transition into operation. By streamlining the training and deployment process, LG CNS can reduce the time required to deploy robots at customer sites from several months to approximately one to two months.
The quadruped security robot is expected to complement conventional security patrols conducted at scheduled intervals by providing more continuous and comprehensive coverage across the residential complex. LG CNS expects the solution to enhance resident safety while improving the operational efficiency of security and facility management personnel.
Expanding Toward Autonomous Multi-Robot Collaboration
LG CNS plans to continuously enhance the robot’s capabilities and performance while expanding the system to enable autonomous collaboration among different types of service robots.
For example, if a security robot detects trash while patrolling the complex, it could automatically assign the task to a cleaning robot. Through this type of collaboration between heterogeneous robots, LG CNS aims to enable robots to autonomously perform a broader range of facility management tasks.
“Safety and service quality are among the highest priorities in premium residential properties,” said Kang Min-soo, CEO of Tower PMC. “By introducing AI-powered security robots in collaboration with LG CNS, we aim to provide residents with a safer and more differentiated living experience while continuing to innovate facility management through advanced technologies.”
“This collaboration represents a meaningful example of how Physical AI can create tangible value for customers in real-world residential environments,” said Myung Chang-kook, Vice President and Head of Smart Logistics Center/Robot Business at LG CNS. “Built on PhysicalWorks, LG CNS will continue to expand AI-powered robotic services that enable a wide range of robots to perform real-world tasks and collaborate autonomously.”
